The Bug is part of Spyderco’s ultra-compact slipjoint line, and is a tiny blade with big utility. It's actually Spyderco’s smallest knife at 2.875“ when open, and only 1.625” when closed. Despite its size, the 1.27“ blade (a smaller version of Spyderco’s signature leaf blade shape) is still ready to work when needed. Its 3CR steel composition combined with a full flat grind helps it stay sharp. And you might think that deployment might be complicated with a knife so small, the addition of the brand’s trademark Round Hole makes this ambidextrous slipjoint easy to deploy. While it lacks a pocket clip, this version with stainless steel handles includes a lanyard hole that makes it an easy carry as a neck or keychain knife. The Bug is perfect for opening packages, doing small detailed work, and taking on the brunt of daily tasks, when you other knives are unavailable and you need a quick fix. You can pick one up at the link below.
