Whether the situation calls for a casual weekend watch or a tough, functional timepiece for the field, chances are there’s a Timex that’ll cover your bases. The brand has already become a favorite in the EDC community for their reliability at affordable prices, and now they've brought those same qualities to stylish collaboration pieces with the likes of Huckberry, NN07, and now, international music label, Ghostly. This time around, Ghostly brings their intelligent design motifs to remix a versatile Timex field watch, resulting in an understated, anti-bling timepiece during the day that lets out its wild side after dark.

The collaboration starts with the Timex Allied 40mm field watch as the base for Ghostly International to bring their signature design cues to the mix. That includes their familiar color palette of matte black on the stainless steel case and dial, white on the markers and co-branding, with a hit of lavender purple anodization on the crown. The stylish dial takes a minimalist approach with Arabic cardinal markers for time-telling, a carefully spaced inner “Ghostly International” ring, finished with Timex and Ghostly co-branding logos. Its three-hand quartz movement sports cathedral hands as a subtle way to keep the military watch theme, with matte-black finishes that provide a low-profile aesthetic while creating a sense of space within the dial against the contrasting white markers. Timex’s INDIGLO backlight lumination technology really brings the watch to life and perfectly captures the Ghostly after dark aesthetic, giving the hands and markers a functional green glow in low-light situations.

The Timex x Ghostly watch comes equipped with a swappable fabric strap for everyday comfort and durability, finished with matching matte black clasp hardware and black leather loops and accents between the 20mm lugs. The watch also boasts 50M of water resistance to handle splashes and spills, as well as a decorative caseback with the Ghostly International ghost-and-globe logo surrounded by the reminder that “Things of Quality Have No Fear of Time.”

You can pick up the watch for your EDC from Timex and Ghostly at their online stores linked below.
