Our Favorite New Flashlights from AceBeam

It’s already the second quarter of 2021 and some of our favorite EDC brands continue to put out new and innovative products, and AceBeam is no exception. The brand makes its mark in the flashlight community for the sheer variety in their offerings. Whether you’re looking for a high-end flashlight, a headlamp, a bicycle lamp, or even state of the art searchlights, they have every illumination base covered, even vetted by law enforcement, security professionals, and outdoor enthusiasts. In this quick roundup, we’ll be taking a look at three new offerings to keep on your radar for your next EDC light, as we celebrate AceBeam's 7th anniversary as well.

E70-AL

With a striking skeletonized blue and black design, the E70-AL manages to pack a maximum output of 4,600 lumens up to 240 meters inside its pocketable 5.05“ body. This is thanks to the pairing of a XHP70.2 LED and a 5100mAh 21700 battery that you can conveniently recharge via a USB-C cable. The high-voltage and high-capacity battery not only gives the E70-AL its power, but an extended runtime of on its Turbo setting and an impressive 11 days on its 1-lumen Moonlight mode. All six of the E70-AL’s modes can be easily accessed thanks to a stainless steel tail switch for quick activation, along with tailstanding capability when needed. With a HAIII hard-anodized aluminum construction, the E70-AL is designed to withstand the wear and tear of EDC thanks to an IP68 rating, which makes it waterproof for up to 2 meters and impact-resistant for up to 1 meter. Last but not least, a pocket clip ensures that this 3.59oz light stays on you no matter the situation.

L19

The L19 was designed for extreme long range, able to reach 1300 meters with its PM1 white LED and up to 1,520 meters with an NM1 green variant. It comes with a maximum output of 1,650 lumens for its white light and 2,200 lumens for its green one, all powered by a single 21700 battery that’s rechargeable via USB-C. Adding to the tactical features, it comes with a crenellated strike bezel for emergency purposes, further aided by its wide head and longer 6.44“ size.

The L19 features a double-switch operation on the side and the tail, and with them you’re able to navigate five different brightness modes from a 1-lumen Moonlight to a 1,650 lumen Turbo. Finally, a HAIII hard-anodized aluminum construction gives it an IP68 rating for water and impact resistance.

H50 Rechargeable Headlamp

If you’re looking for a hands-free option, the H50 is your best bet. One of the main concerns with headlamps is weight; wearing something in your head for a long time can be uncomfortable, especially if it’s heavier than it needs to be. The H50 keeps this in mind and weighs in at just 2.18 ounces, while still offering plenty of output. Thanks to a single 18650 battery (you guessed it, USB-C rechargeable), the H50 offers a maximum output of 2,000 lumens on its highest setting with the LH351D LED option. The H50 comes in a unique triple LED layout with TIR optics that provides a max 125° beam angle, so it’s able to shine a light on most of your field of view.

You get to choose between three different options of LEDs: the aforementioned Samsung LH351D which offers the most output, Nichia 219C for the highest CRI, and OSRAM KW CSLNM1.TG for the best throw. A single-button interface gives you access to five different brightness settings, including Ultra-Low, Turbo, and Strobe. Finally, a HAIII grade hard-anodized aluminum body makes it impact resistant and water resistant for up to 2 meters, allowing the H50 to perform no matter the weather.
