Created as an update to Medford’s best-selling knife, the Praetorian Scout takes everything that made the original great while adding welcome material improvements. Starting things off, the Praetorian Scout employs a 3.625“ blade made from D2 steel covered with a black PVD coating, increasing both its durability and corrosion resistance. This gives the Scout’s blade composition the resilience to match its signature chunky profile, making it a true workhorse knife. You still get the rest of the standard Praetorian features, including the modified tanto blade shape, its deep finger groove for deployment, and its heavy jimping on the spine.

The handles come in G-10 scales, increasing its grip and resilience without adding too much bulk. They also feature heavy jimping on the spine, completing the overbuilt look while providing even and even more solid purchase in hand. Within the scales is a titanium liner lock frame to hold the blade in place while in use. Finally, for ease of carry, this 100% made in the USA knife comes with a titanium pocket clip, which, when combined with the smooth surface of the handles, afford a smoother carry inside your pockets, preventing excess wear and tear. Medford’s Praetorian line has set the bar for years for ultra-tough, heavy-duty knives—pick up a Praetorian Scout for yourself at the link below.
