Take Your EDC to the Next Level With Glow Rhino’s Tritium Essentials

Widely used in watches, tools, compasses, and military gear, tritium is a self-powered light source that doesn’t require batteries or an outside charge, making it perfect for applications that require visibility in low-light environments. Naturally, this makes tritium an ideal upgrade to our EDC gear, allowing our essentials to be more visible during a night-time adventure or camping trip without requiring external light sources.

Glow Rhino believes that our EDC shouldn’t quit just because the lights do. With nearly 30 years of experience adapting tritium to various solutions in the defense industry, they’ve applied that expertise by creating a wide range of products using tritium to enhance the tools we carry every day.

Tritium Lanyard Hole Plug for the Benchmade Bugout

The venerable Benchmade Bugout is one of the EDC community's favorite pocket knives, and Glow Rhino’s tritium upgrade improves on it by allowing you to quickly find it in low light conditions without the need for a flashlight. Glow Rhino’s Tritium Lanyard Hole Plug for the Benchmade Bugout is crafted from CNC-machined stainless steel with a black nitride coating to blend into the Benchmade Bugout’s lanyard hole seamlessly. It uses double-sided cylindrical tritium lamps to make it visible on both sides of the knife. The tritium plug is compatible with Benchmade 535 Bugout glass-filled nylon scale models, and can be easily installed by loosening the scale screws closest to the lanyard hole and simply sliding the plug into place.

Tritium Lanyard Hole Plug for Spyderco Knives

Spyderco has created some of the most iconic and sought-after knives for EDC, so it’s no surprise that Glow Rhino has a Tritium Lanyard Hole Plug upgrade for their popular Para Military 2 and Para 3 G10-scaled models. The plug seamlessly integrates into the knife’s handle, making it seem like an original inclusion. It’s crafted in CNC-machined titanium and is available in either Satin Silver or Black PVD colors. Two cylindrical tritium lamps handle illumination, and just like the plug for the Benchmade Bugout, it’s double-sided for visibility from either side of the knife.

The Spark

Glow Rhino developed The Spark to instantly identify important bag pockets, pouches, and keyrings, enabling you to locate exactly what you need when you need it. At just 0.31”, the Spark is the smallest and most economical of Glow Rhino’s Glow Fobs and can be attached to your keyring or bag with its included keychain hole and lanyard loop. The cylindrical tritium lamp is encased in injection molded polycarbonate, allowing it to withstand the bumps and scrapes of everyday carry as well as inclement weather. The compact but robust construction means you won’t have to worry about losing or damaging your light source when you need it the most. The Spark is available in green, blue, purple, yellow, and red and can be purchased in 1,3, or 5-pack options.
