Looks like a bunch of essentially overpriced "essentials".
Bill Givler ·
The $1,000 blazer caused me to raise an eyebrow, but the $1,000 blanket made me laugh out loud.
Chris ·
Bet the type of guy who has these essentials is a blast to have a beer with. Assuming this is some deal between EDC and Details magazine, but this list is pretty embarrassing.
Sean ·
Cascade wallet is the prefect wallet for everyday and travel needs. I just received mine. Yaayyy!! www.maniwonders.com

Besides the noise cancelling headphones, the prices of these items keep them off my "essentials" list.
Ryan Harris ·
$830 for a travel wallet? What the?
Justin Fulford ·
I'm with you Swooper. Almost this entire list is absurd.

FFS - a blanket!!!!

I am a frequent flyer and have equivalents to most of these but they cost an awful lot less. The only one I actually own are the Bose headphones.

"Staff Writer" is clearly too embarrassed to show their real name.

$125 for a luggage tag? That's about 125 times too expensive unless it's freaking diamond studded or something.

In fact, almost every item there is way overpriced. Together this set of "essentials" comes to over $5000. I thought this site promoted quality items over useless brand names? I mean, I'm not a guy who skimps on stuff that matters, but all the money you'd waste by buying all this stuff could be used on a 6 week vacation to somewhere far away.
