Update: This contest has ended, congrats to Jourdan S.! Thanks for participating and keep it locked for more giveaways on Everyday Carry.

Who else loves free EDC gear? Every week or so, we'll be giving away prize packages full of interesting gear we get our hands on, or very special single item prizes for you to win.

This week's prize package celebrates gloriously overbuilt gear — the nigh-indestructible, the marvels of engineering, the gear that puts function first but in no way slacks on form.

We’ll run the giveaway for a week. Good luck everyone, and carry on! Congratulations to Abeeku T., winner of our previous Prepared Professional Essentials giveaway.

Make sure you're logged in, then head over to our giveaway page for your chance to win the following:

Image title
  • Nitecore EC4: This thing can throw a max 1000 lumen beam for 322 meters — that's impressive in itself. But what makes this light so special is that it's the first completely die-cast light on the market. Its unibody aluminum construction gives better strength, heat dissipation, and rigidity. It is on the larger side, but we'll set you up with a proper holster for it if you win. ($78)

  • Zero Tolerance 0808 Rexford KVT Ti: This is a beast of a knife. It's a titanium framelock flipper knife with that tanky Zero Tolerance design language. Despite how overbuilt it is, it deploys and handles with a robust elegance. ($250)

  • Spec-Ops THE Wallet: This is no minimalist wallet. It's made in the USA from 1000D cordura nylon for supreme durability, and sized large enough to carry cash, cards, IDs, and even a passport but small enough to fit in a pocket. ($32)

  • Cha/O/Ha EDC Card Multitool: This is a card-sized tool that definitely wouldn't break if you sat on your wallet. It's made from a 2.84 mm-thick piece of solid S35VN steel and includes the wrenches, drivers, and other tools you'd need for daily tasks. ($60)

Prize Package Value: $420

Probably a typo, the Cha/O/Ha EDC Card Multitool is 2.4 mm thick I believe. Not 24 mm. If it was, it would be a bit too overbuilt.
Bernard Capulong ·
Thanks, fixed that up. You're right.. 24mm would be over-overbuilt lol
I absolutely love my THE wallet.
Jimmy Liu ·
This giveaway has my favorite stuff so far! Nice roundup of items.
Nice giveaway. Knife in particular looks killer.
David E ·
Funny, I've been researching just these four types of items... I'm torn between a couple of the different wallet tools, even after the last guide. The knife would be a no-brainer if I had the cash. Nice!
Patrick LaFollette ·
This is a pretty cool giveaway. The knife alone is worth the entry.
Gayle Phillips ·

Florian Ladwig ·
Every single item would be great, the whole package is just awesome.
The electricity frequently goes out here during storms. That light would be perfect.

I was just in the market for a ZT flipper. This would be awesome!
