I have been carrying this pencil for more than two years. The philosophy behind an expensive pencil over inexpensive "disposable" pencils has been visited many times all over the Internet. My take on this is obvious, I don't lose this pencil !
Go visit Jetpens.com and see what you think. I have dozens of mechanical pencils but this one is the one I carry every day.

I use to use big carpenter's pencils, but these allow a lot more precision....
