WESN Allman Knife

Sometimes you don't need every feature under the sun for gear to perform well. When you want a no-frills, high-performing knife, it's better to get back to the basics. The WESN Allman is a sturdy, compact folding knife designed to do just that. This premium, minimalist EDC knife features an elegant design made of premium materials that deliver top-notch cutting potential. And if you remember WESN's successful Kickstarter for the Micro Blade, think of the Allman as sizing it up for the better.

The Allman, like the Micro Blade before it, sports a unique modified clip-point blade with a stout profile that makes it a strong tool while keeping things discreet at 2.75” in length. The design offers a beefy straight edge for larger utility tasks, a fine belly for delicate slicing, and a strong tip for piercing through the toughest of objects when you need it. And because it's made of premium S35VN steel, you can rely upon the hard blade on the Allman to maintain an edge through repeated daily use. That premium edge is paired with your choice between a minimalist precision-machined titanium handle and a durable, grippy G10 scaled version of the knife. With the titanium version, you get the benefit of a full frame lock, while the G10 comes with an equally-respectable liner mechanism to hold the blade in place despite rough use. Either way, you get a 3.8” full-size handle that's big enough to get a firm grip. And with its high-index flipper tab, the knife is easily opened a single hand, especially with ball bearings in the pivot. For carry, you can use the titanium clip to attach the knife to your pockets, but there's also a gorgeous natural vegetable-tanned leather sheath if you prefer a more classy, timeless option.

With the WESN Allman, you get a no-nonsense, highly-practical everyday carry knife with a smart design made of premium materials featuring a unique and handsome minimalist aesthetic that doesn't go overboard. You can reserve your very own WESN Allman today, in the configuration of your choice, at the fully funded Kickstarter link below.

WESN Titanium Micro Knife

Sometimes the biggest surprises come from the smallest knives. While it may look like it belongs on your keychain, the WESN Titanium Micro Knife is a bona fide EDC blade, complete with features you wouldn't expect on a knife this small. It doesn't skimp on materials, performance, or carry options. Packing a flipper deployment, pocket clip, titanium scales, and a locking blade that's built for EDC use into its tiny design is no small feat, but the WESN gets the job done.

The entire WESN knife might be smaller than just the blade on your current EDC at just 2.25” long when closed, but don't count it out. Its 1.5” AUS8 stainless steel blade deploys in a flash by way of either a thumb stud or the much-welcomed flipper tab on a knife this small. The shape of the modified drop point blade maximizes the cutting edge, giving you a lot more to work with than you'd expect for a smaller blade. Once deployed, the blade locks up into a stainless steel frame lock — a secure and convenient alternative to slipjoints and back locks. The flipper tab also acts like a finger guard to let you really put the knife to work.

The WESN isn't just compact, it's lightweight and durable too thanks to its grade 5 titanium handle. The entire knife weighs just one ounce, making it a breeze to carry whether you use its included pocket clip or make use of its lanyard attachment hole. For a more premium carry option, slip it into its matching, made in the USA leather sheath. A knife this compact can be extremely versatile in your setup as a primary blade, a backup, a keychain option, or even as a makeshift moneyclip. You can pick one up on Amazon at the link below.

WESN Titanium Micro Blade

When space is at a premium in your EDC, you might end up leaving your favorite knife at home. Even some smaller everyday carry knife options can be either too big for what you need, or other times, even too small to be anything more than a novelty. What you need is an extremely compact EDC knife that can actually perform. The WESN Titanium Micro Blade is a fully funded Kickstarter project that aims to be just that, designed with a strong set of features you'd expect from a knife twice its size.

The WESN Titanium Micro Blade is an incredibly tiny EDC folding knife that looks built for real use. The excellent utility of the knife starts with its 1.5” AUS8 stainless steel blade. It has a modified drop point shape with a pronounced curve that increases the surface area of the knife and helps it deal with tasks easily, like a larger knife could. The AUS8 composition allows for an ideal mix of sharpness, edge retention, and ease of maintenance. Deployment is also easy thanks to two opening mechanisms: a thumbstud on the blade and a flipper tab on the spine.

Its grade 5 titanium handle helps bring the weight of the knife down to just a single ounce for barely-there pocket or keychain carry. The resilient, springy characteristic of titanium also improves performance of the WESN's frame lock mechanism, which you usually don't see on a knife of this size. On the side is a deep carry pocket clip designed for right-handed carry. Because the knife is only 2.25” when closed, the clip can also double as an effective cash clip for your bills. The hole at the other end of the handle can accommodate lanyard or keychain carry as well. There's even a beautiful leather sheath available for the knife at higher pledges.

It's not often you can look at a tiny EDC knife that inspires confidence in its ability to work for you. The WESN does just that. Make your pledge to the fully-funded Kickstarter to secure a WESN Titanium Micro Blade of your own.
