For Watch Wednesday, we take a little peek at the pricier end of the timekeeping spectrum at an understated everyday watch from Nomos that’s bold in all the right details. Everything about the Nomos Club Campus 38 is reserved and refined: from its 38.5 mm case suited for a majority of wrists, to its “bilingual” dial that features both Arabic and Roman numerals evenly proportioned for maximum legibility. The subtle blue outlines on the numerals and indices hint at the Super-LumiNova coating that gives the Club Campus a blue luminescent glow when the sun goes down. A hi-vis orange subdial at the 6 o’clock position completes the dial features, with everything sealed up to 10 ATM of water resistance under a sapphire glass. Within the Club Campus‘s case beats a handcrafted and hand-wound Alpha caliber movement, with up to 43 hours of power reserve for even the longest days.
