About This Everyday Carry
“36M, commercial photographer from The Netherlands. Got two weeks off for holidays, this is in my pockets and on my wrist for the coming days. The fixed blade is tucked in my left pocket in the small sheath, along with the wallet. Right pocket is for the phone, cargo pockets for the rest.
Overall I like quality stuff, I’m in to watches, knives, flashlights and general EDC.
The Zip Pouch Pro is filled with tiny items that can help me and my young kids at any time: bandaids, alcohol wipes, pain relief, nail clippers, screwdriver, USB-C cable, keys, cards, cash—you name it.
So when (guaranteed) during this holiday my kids fall, I got bandaids and wipes. When the battery of their RC car needs replacing, I got the Phillips head screwdriver to open the battery door, etc. My old Canon point-and-shoot digicam for the memories is on me most of the time.” — Deon
Editor’s Note: I love this EDC because it has so many great ideas in it while staying very cohesive. I also personally use a zip pouch with small, hard-to-pocket “just in case” items and I appreciate Deon’s foresight for carrying to help others (milk it while you can, before your kids get into EDC too!). There’s even this element of “slower” tech and tools to be more present with what you’re doing, like the “vintage” digicam and quality stationery in the Kaweco and Rhodia combo that I appreciate and use myself. And it’s clear you have good taste and an eye for aesthetics with the rest of your gear and how you’ve photographed it for us to enjoy. Thanks for sharing!
