“I’m an industrial electrician by day, and a blacksmith and leatherworker by night. I make a lot of multitool/flashlight cases and have an affinity for brass.
This is my weekend setup. This was a bit of a collection I’ve put together and I don’t necessarily pack the Zippo and flashlight everywhere, it depends on where I’m going and what I’m doing. But the Bugout, the tape, and the pen are usually with me.
The tape measure is handy to have as I’m always curious what dimensions things are, and it’s a good fidget toy as well.
The Bugout is my weekend carry knife, and the Ridge pen is my latest addition so I’ve been carrying that everywhere as well because it writes nice, and is also a great fidget toy.” — Cole

Editor’s Note: Shoutouts to Cole for sharing this awesome brass EDC. I’ve tried a full brass EDC myself in the past, and I can appreciate the satisfying heft the material provides as well as the rich, warm color in the metal. It isn’t for everyone though — if you’re considering a brass setup, just keep in mind it will be significantly heavier than a comparable EDC in aluminum or titanium. It does patina nicely though, so if you’re after that timeless look that gets even better the longer you carry and use your gear, definitely consider a brass EDC.
