About This Everyday Carry
16 year old Mechatronics Student from Poland
“My EDC is put together as cheaply as possible because I don’t have a lot of money as an underage student. I carry this EDC because I love repairing things that other people haven’t fixed. I’ll even stop just to tighten a loose hinge on a door. Fixing things around me brings me joy and helps me manage my emotions. I’m on the autism spectrum, so having something to do as a distraction is important to me.” — fox (@sneekisneksnek)
Editor’s Note: While it’s already impressive that you’re able to do so many repairs and fixes with this efficient and value-packed carry, I especially appreciate that your carry enhances an element of joy and emotional regulation too. That shows a deep understanding of yourself, which can even help with how effectively you use your gear. I think carrying a strong mindset is an underrated and overlooked part of the practice of EDC, so props to you for cultivating that for yourself and sharing this awesome carry with the rest of us.
I’d love to see more of your awesome submissions, which you can share using the handy form below!
