Aer’s new and improved Active Collection 2 updates their versatile range of EDC-worthy gym bags with better materials and thoughtful design tweaks throughout. For urban EDC in and out of the gym, these are some of the strongest options around.
The second collection introduces new versions of the same silhouettes from the original. Depending on your preference for capacity and carry style, you can pick from four bags: a hybrid duffel/backpack, a more compact daypack, a spacious and breathable gym duffel, and an over-the-shoulder sling pack. Overall, they’ve been reworked with new Cordura brand 1680D ballistic nylon exteriors, more internal organization for mobile office essentials, larger and better ventilated shoe compartments, and custom zipper pulls as a finishing touch. But the improvements don’t stop there.
The Duffel Pack was already spacious, but the Duffel Pack 2 ups the capacity and adds comfort thanks to redesigned ergonomic shoulder straps. For a smaller option, the Fit Pack 2 also comes with reworked shoulder straps and internal pockets. The Sling Pack 2 is now fully ambidextrous thanks to a central zip pocket and configurable shoulder strap. This time around, it features better internal pockets to even accommodate a small laptop. Lastly, the gear-hauling Gym Duffel 2 adds an additional 5.4L up to a 37.4L capacity while trimming the weight down to under 3 pounds.
