“Good things come to those who wait,” says the adage, and we’ve been waiting for this one for a while. With G-SHOCK’s latest addition to the G-SHOCK MOVE series of watches, the G-SHOCK GBDH2000 finally combines its world-renowned durability with true fitness tracking capabilities and smartwatch functionality to improve your fitness level and training performance under any condition.
Improving on its predecessor, the GBDH1000, the G-SHOCK GBDH2000 features an updated design. It adds multi-sport functionality with an additional sixth sensor, allowing you to track your performance across a wide range of activities, from running and biking to swimming and gym workouts. The GBDH2000 utilizes an optical sensor with an LED light that accurately measures changes in blood flow to detect heart rate, making it easy to monitor your heart health. Its accelerometer tracks your steps throughout the day, while a gyroscope identifies your swimming strokes, turns, and more, so you can keep the pace going on land or in the water.
Those who love training outdoors will appreciate the built-in GPS, magnetic, pressure, and thermal sensors that track compass bearing and temperature, as well as altitude and barometric pressure. Take complete control of your outdoor workouts–the GBDH2000 has all the information you need to optimize your training gains.
With just the touch of a button, users can select from various activity modes to track and display real-time measurements such as energy used, pace, calories burned, and type of calories used per activity. So whether you’re running, cycling, or training for endurance, the GBDH2000 provides detailed feedback to help you reach your fitness goals.
Connecting the GBDH2000 to the Casio Watches app opens up even more functionality, with an easy-to-understand display of daily activity tracking, activity logs, and life logs. Working with popular sports activity brand POLAR, its database analyses your sleep and even provides breathing exercises to improve overall health.
At a mere 63g, the GBDH2000 is 38% lighter than its predecessor. It achieves this via its carbon-reinforced resin back, a thinner rechargeable battery, and the use of bio-based resins for its bezel and band. Bio-based resins are eco-friendly and renewable materials that help reduce the ecological footprint while meeting G-SHOCK’s toughness requirements.
The GBDH2000 retains all of the G-SHOCK technology we’ve come to love, including its 200-meter water resistance, shock resistance, Super Illuminator LED Backlight, four daily alarms and auto Calendar, 1/100th second 100-hour stopwatch, 60-minute timer, and world time functions.
Both solar and USB charging is supported, with solar-assisted charging enough to keep its time display active indefinitely. Once the battery is low, you’ll need to plug the watch in to use its training functions and smart notifications.
The G-SHOCK GBDH2000 is available in two colorways: the GBDH2000-1A9 in colorful black and yellow, and the GBDH2000-1A in classic black. Order yours at the link below.
