On paper, the S30R is a solid flashlight: it uses standard 18650 or CR123A cells, puts out a blinding 1000 lumens on Turbo with its XM-L2 emitter, and has unique design features such as a side switch that doubles as a battery indicator and a glow-in-the-dark bezel o-ring. Its real strength, however, lies in its magnetic micro USB charging dock.
