So how do you dress up something as simple as a hook? Titanium would be a good place to start. The EDCer’s favorite metal offers unique properties that make it great for gear meant to be used every day, such as its strength in spite of its flexibility and its heavy resistance while remaining lightweight. That flexibility lends itself well to the functionality of KIN’s Grade 5 titanium hook, since it’s able to engage and disengage without ever losing its grip.
Handgrey also added a couple of thoughtful touches to the hook itself: a no-contact opening and slightly curved tip that ensures it doesn’t rip your pockets to shreds over time, and a wide inner clearance for latching onto thicker objects.
