Bellroy Transit Backpack

The holiday festivities are over, you’ve taken the extra week off, binge watched all the great shows and movies from the past year, and the time has come to get back to work. And for us EDCers, nothing gets us back on track like the perfect pack on our back. With resilient construction, plenty of capacity, and top-notch organization to match, Bellroy’s new Transit Backpack lives up to its name of a bag designed for people on the go. Whether heading back into the daily grind, escaping outside for the weekend, or even taking to the skies, there’s lots of potential when packing in Transit.

From exterior to interior, the Transit ticks a lot of boxes for a modern travel and everyday bag. Its woven exterior is water-resistant and made from recycled plastic water bottles, adding sustainability to its durability. The main compartment zips all the way around to lay flat, making it an excellent vessel for a packing or pouch system, with a deep 28L capacity that allows the bag to work well for weekend or travel duty, since it’s designed to meet carry-on size restrictions. There’s even compression straps on the inside similar to luggage that keeps everything from moving around.

The Transit isn’t just an empty bucket of a bag, however. It comes with a number of handy pockets and compartments, starting with a quick access pocket on the front which contains dividing compartments and a key clip to stow often-used essentials. The front flap has mesh pockets on the inside for organization and visibility, while a soft-lined top pocket and side zip pockets take care of phones, sunglasses, and water bottles, respectively. Finally, the rear compartment is a quick-access padded laptop compartment for machines up to 15“, making it easy to pull out for airport checks. Sealing zippers on every compartment also ensure that the weather wherever you are doesn’t make a mess of your gear.

The Bellroy Transit Backpack is big on space and big on organization, with thoughtful touches that make it usable and sustainable. Take it out for your next trip by picking it up at the link below.
