The K2 is the Leatherman FREE collection’s robust knife option. It’s made in Portland, Oregon at Leatherman HQ, and comes with a 3.3“ blade made from 420HC steel as its main feature. It comes with a modified sheepsfoot shape with a slight curve to make slicing and piercing tasks easier. Within its aluminum handles, you’ll find 7 useful functions spread across 3 combination tools, including drivers, a pry tool, an owl, a package opener, and the ever useful bottle opener.
All of these tools and the blade can be accessed with just one hand—a core FREE function—for quick access thanks to its magnetic architecture and cam lock system, making them buttery smooth to open, locked in place while in use, and as easy to close up when you’re finished with your tasks. Aluminum handles with a removable pocket clip also ensure that the K2 is more than ready for the wear and tear of everyday carry and use. Pick one up at the link below, and check it out in 2 other colorways to best fit your EDC.
