My father fly fished holding a Bible between his casting elbow and hip. The Bible was hollowed out and held fat nightcrawlers for when the artificials lacked.

Nice gear, but real fly fisherman know better. Amber polarized full wrap lenses and a hat with dark brim are key for spotting fish and presenting flies. A buff to protect you face from sun/wind. Nippers and forcepts over a knife. And cmon man - catch and release.
