About This Everyday Carry
While a lot of my work as an analyst in the FinTech world is on a computer, I handwrite whenever I can. When I do, I usually use my fountain pens (pictured). These two are my favorites and they are the workhorses from my collection of fountain pens for when I’m not at home.
The notebook is where I jot down everything on my mind, which ranges from what’s making me anxious or happy at that moment, what I thought of the meal I just had, or what I thought of the movie I just saw, and my ever-growing wishlist.
The multitool is a new acquisition. I got it off Amazon after seeing a review on YouTube. I usually carry a separate knife, scissors, etc., but this nifty tool has it all in one package, and I love it. The blade is D2, which is also fantastic.
The light has been with me since day one (of getting into EDC). It’s a Streamlight, and I haven’t found a reason to replace it yet. The watch was a gift to myself after seeing Interstellar (one of my favorite movies). It’s a 42mm, which was the size worn in the movie
The Orbit key contains my keys, and a flash drive, and the wallet is a front pocket one from Popov Leather which I’ve had and carried for a couple of years now.
