Considering I working in and studying cybersecurity, I am constantly knee deep in the world of technology. For this reason I intentionally try to select my EDC items to be as analog as possible just to get a break into the traditional world that I grew up in. Although I frequently cycle through my collection of bifold, cardholder, and custom wallets, the Houbei 2.0 from Open Sea Leather was about as close as I have gotten to the perfect wallet that suits my daily needs. The hank keeps my glasses clean so I chose a silk option by Jacob Alexander.

I am an avid note taker and appreciate the quality and craftsmanship of Japanese stationary products so I chose the travelers notebook which goes everywhere with me. This triples as my monthly/weekly planner, daily journal, and sketchbook. I like this system as I can customize it as I need with some of the best materials that are offered like Midori paper which is perfect for fountain pens. My instruments of choice are the Travelers Company fountain pen and bullet pencil. I do have others from Big Idea Design and Tactile Turn but there’s something about vintage looking options that just appeal to my old soul. I do not come across many tasks that require a large knife so the Japanese Higonokami is perfect for sharpening my pencil and other small tasks.

My lighter is the brass stamped Zippo which reminds me of my home state of Pennsylvania and serves as my fidget item that annoys others. The watch of choice is the Ray II by Orient. I have options from Timex,Seiko,Casio and Hamilton but there is something about the Orient that makes me love wearing it above the rest. Keys are a simple hook from Corter Leather & Cloth with Small items from Craft & Lore, and Glow Rhino. Thanks for the great videos that keep my boring days policing the web filled with joy lol.
