About This Everyday Carry

“Hacking, design, and tinkering: This is my daily setup for sketching ideas, flipping signals, fixing stuff, and opening cold drinks.

The Leuchtturm keeps the analog brain running, the Flipper Zero keeps the digital world in check.

Add some classic tools, a Zippo for style, and a Casio that’s always on time (ish). It’s a blend of old-school and low-key cyber readiness – all riding shotgun in a compact shoulder bag.”
— Max, your friendly neighborhood hacker

The Flipper Zero is like a "digital multi-tool," able to consolidate badges and remotes, automate repetitive tasks, test for security vulnerabilities, and much more.

Editor’s Note: I find this EDC so fascinating, seeing how Max’s gear helps them navigate the analog and digital world in ways you probably wouldn’t expect. I don’t really know anything about hacking (other than what I’ve gathered from binging 4 seasons of Mr. Robot) but the concept of a digital multi-tool is super cool to me. The rest of the gear is well-selected also, from the German stationery to god-tier digital watch. Max describes their EDC perfectly as a blend of old-school and low-key cyber readiness. Thanks so much for submitting your setup!

I’d love to see more of your awesome submissions, which you can share using the handy form below.
