In 2023, Kaweco made their venerable Sport pen available in beautiful bronze.
Bronze is an alloy metal that consists of copper and other materials. The inclusion of copper gives the Bronze Kaweco Sport a reddish hue, making it stand apart from the pack. The metal construction makes it more durable than a plastic pen, but at 1.69 ounces, it isn’t that much added heft to your pockets. What we like: We don’t see metal pens for EDC made out of bronze often, and Kaweco integrating it into their community-favorite Sport fountain or rollerball pen is a welcome treat.
What to watch out for: The Kaweco Sport does not come with a pocket clip out of the box; you will have to pick one up as a separate purchase if that’s something you need. In addition, that clip is not available in bronze so it will look slightly different from the overall look of the pen.
