It's a big EDC market out there, and tons of awesome gear is released all the time. We made The Drop to help you discover the latest and greatest essentials worth a spot in your EDC.

Once in a while, among the droves of pocket knives that we see come and go, we see a knife that causes us to do a double take. The WE Knife Co. Nexusia Titanium Knife is one of those knives. We’ve come to know WE Knife Co. as manufacturers of some of the best value-for-money knives out there, and this Nexusia flipper is no exception.

The Nexusia is a rather hefty knife, with an overall length of 8.30” and a blade length of 3.48”. The blade is made from premium CPM 20CV steel, one of the best steels in the market for edge retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. Its drop point style makes it highly versatile and suitable for various tasks, while the blade’s design with a deep fuller adds some flair while simultaneously making it lighter and stiffer.

Its handle is exceptionally comfortable, thanks to its larger size. Since the handle and frame lock are made from titanium, durability will never be an issue. However, What caught my eye is its tiger stripe flamed finish–not something you see every day on titanium–which gives it a unique look that truly stands out. The handle also has machined holes and a flamed pivot, adding texture and contrast to the design.

The flipper opening is smooth and fast, thanks to the bearings in the pivot. The flipper also acts as a guard when the knife is opened, preventing the hand from slipping onto the blade.

What we like: Not only does it look great, but the Nexusia’s size lets it be extremely capable of handling any task you throw at it.

What to watch out for: It’s a limited-edition premium piece, meaning stocks will be limited and come with a price tag to match. It’s also currently on pre-order, so you’ll be waiting a bit to get yours. Lastly, it’s a righty-only model, so unfortunately not optimal for lefties.

Final verdict: The WE Knife Co. Nexusia is an attractive, well-made knife that presents a great showcase of the kind of quality and craftsmanship that WE Knife Co. is capable of.
