BigIDesign’s Ti EDC Backpack Unites Titanium and Travel

BigIDesign has made more than a few high-quality everyday carry items over the years, all focusing on their mastery in crafting titanium into useful everyday carry tools and gadgets. But with their new Ti EDC Backpack, they’re charting a new course. This is BigIDesign’s first foray into making a backpack, and they spent a long time working on the details to get everything just right. Making a 25L capacity bag entirely of titanium would be impractical, so it features a 915D Invista CORDURA exterior in its black edition and a 600D 82T CATION nylon shell for the grey version. That said, the titanium hardware on the BigIDesign Ti EDC Backpack is second to none, with solid grade 5 construction in the g-hook and strap buckles. BigIDesign stands behind the craftsmanship of the bag and all of its components, which have a lifetime warranty.

The bag also features a hybrid clamshell main compartment with waterproof zippers and a padded foam organizational liner for keeping your gear and tech essentials safe and secure when moving. A roll-top exterior front compartment that will keep the elements away from the quick access essentials you may keep inside held securely with the titanium g-hook and cinch for streamlined carry convenience. Concealed behind the main compartment is a slim, padded, three-section area that will accommodate up to a 16” desktop replacement laptop and a tablet, making this a great everyday carry bag for both travel and office use.

Rocketbook’s Reusable Notes Make Note-Taking Eco-Friendly

After a highly successful Kickstarter campaign, Rocketbook continues to build on the trend they started with their Rocketbook Pro reusable smart notebook with Reusable Sticky Notes. Crafted from Rocketbook’s durable, erasable paper, which offers a familiar pen-on-paper feel, anything you write on the Reusable Sticky Notes using any pen from the Pilot FriXion line can be wiped clean with water. Rocketbook claims that the adhesive used on the Sticky Notes can be stuck and restuck hundreds of times, making them an eco-friendly alternative to throwing used sticky notes away. The free Rocketbook app allows you to save, search, and organize your notes in the cloud or share them with popular digital task management programs like Trello and Asana, where you can collaborate with other people. When not in use, you can store the Reusable Sticky Notes in its compact storage case, keeping them clean and organized.

Coast’s Founders Series Origin Damascus Knife Offers Luxury at a Steal

Plenty of Damascus steel knives are featured in the everyday carry loadouts of many enthusiasts in the community. However, only some take the tack Coast has opted for with their new 1919 Founders Series Origin Damascus folding knife. Where some brands forgo disclosing the steel used in the folds of their Damascus product, Coast is upfront with their black stiletto-style blade featuring 9Cr18MoV stainless steel with a black titanium nitride finish. Coast opted to use the Damascus technique on the finish on the handle and frame of the knife, keeping it as a classy decorative flourish and not making dubious claims about the superiority of steel just labeled as Damascus and charging a high price for it.

That’s the other side of the Founder’s Series Origin Damascus. Plenty of knives with undisclosed and vague Damascus steel specifications go for multiples of the sub-80 dollar price of the Coast Founders Series Origin Damascus folding knife. That makes it immensely affordable, with the frame lock flipper reliability of a quality knife and the handsome looks of a Damascus design, albeit in the sharply contrasting handle compared to the blade. And Coast backs the construction of that blade with a lifetime warranty, so you can rely on this knife in the years to come. The original cost is $99.99, but it’s currently on sale for $79.99 at the time of this publication.
