To us EDCers, the words “free gear” are like music to our ears. And that couldn’t ring more true than with this special giveaway from our friends at Gerber. They’ve partnered with the iconic guitar brand, Fender, to put together this truly unique prize package. Up for grabs is a custom Fender American Professional II Telecaster Deluxe and a trio of exclusive customized Gerber EDC knives. The prizes showcase both American brands’ customization prowess: Gerber more recently started offering custom EDC knives last year, while Fender has been making collectible custom instruments since 1987. And now you have a rare opportunity to add these pieces to your collection in this once-in-a-lifetime giveaway.

Gerber and Fender collaborated with acclaimed tattoo artist Luke Wessman to create the custom art on the Telecaster and knives. His designs drew inspiration from lyrics by American country music singer Tim Montana, with “Never Quit” as a repeating motif appearing on each item. Wessman’s design also prominently features a bald eagle done up in his signature tattoo art style to symbolize the American spirit of freedom, adventure, and pride.

For this giveaway, Gerber customized three of their best EDC knives: the wharncliffe Fastball, the cleaver Fastball, and the Sedulo. The Gerber Fastball comes with a wharncliffe blade in S30V steel, a blue machined G10 handle, and accenting gold hardware and pocket clip. The Cleaver Fastball opts for a trendy pocket cleaver blade shape in 20CV steel, red machined aluminum handles, accented with gold hardware on the pivot and lock liner. Last but not least, the Gerber Sedulo is customized with a blacked-out S30V blade, black hardware, and a contrasting white handle, and is exclusive to this giveaway. All the blades proudly display Wessman’s art laser-etched on for that custom fit and finish.

One lucky winner can win the grand prize of the Fender Telecaster and Gerber Knife trio, while two runners-up can win the custom Gerber knife trio on their own. To enter to win, head over to the contest page over at Gerber’s blog and scroll to the bottom for all the details.
