Automatica One Dive Watch

In a sea of clunky, overbuilt tool watches, it’s hard to find a diver that can stand up to daily use and look good doing it. With the Automatica One, Honolulu-based Mansfield Time hopes to make waves by pairing classic diver functionality with a stylish and fresh design.

They started with a dive watch’s most essential quality: its durability. The Automatica One features 20 atm water resistance, stainless steel construction, heavy duty screw pin lugs, and a domed sapphire crystal. Underneath, the dial is where this watch really sets itself apart. It packs plenty of information from its 24-hour subdial and unique date wheel while its layered construction adds visual depth. With a 43mm case size, high-vis red accents, and lume coating its sword hands and perimeter index markers, legibility is not an issue either. At its core, a Miyota 8217 automatic movement keeps the watch ticking (or more accurately, sweeping)—no batteries necessary.

The Automatica One comes in a variety of color and bracelet options to match your everyday style with its everyday performance. You can find your favorite configuration of this affordable modern diver at its fully funded Kickstarter campaign below.
