Small EDC fixed blades. These are a few of my EDC rotation of fixed blades. Fixed blades are finally starting to gain more popularity‚Äč within and outside the EDC community. And for good reason. If you've never had a small fixed blade, order a LT Wright Patriot with both leather and kydex sheaths ASAP and experience the joy of an EDC fixed blade.

I'd love to hear how and why you carry a fixed blade. I have a ton of respect for your opinion, and I know you have some great folders.

Small fixed blades all fur and incredibly strong and versatile cutting tool compared to a folder. If you notice in the picture of this post all the fixed blades are 3 inches or less in blade length. The reason that I choose small fixed blades are that I can carry them in there no bigger than a folder but they are much stronger and quicker in that because they are fixed blades they have no weak point they have no locking mechanism that has to engage or that can fail. If you take the alt-right Patriots for example in my opinion I think everyone should at least buy and carry that knife if you're curious about fixed blades. By the Patriot with the Kydex sheath option and carry it for a week and you'll totally understand where I'm coming from on the fixed blade carry option. So in a nutshell fixed blades are stronger they are easier to deploy and they are fun.
