Dango M1 Maverick Collection

When tasked with securing your most valuable essentials, an EDC wallet faces the pressure to be durable, organized, hard to lose, and easy to use, all at once. Dango's new flagship wallet, the M1 Maverick, performs this difficult balancing act as one of their best wallets yet. It improves upon the bomb-proof aluminum chassis of their foundational T01 and D01 wallets while adopting a vertical orientation as on their recent S1 wallet for easier access and handling. The different feature-packed configurations in the new M1 line-up offer solutions for any EDCer, from the refined minimalist to the tactical prepper.

At the core of the M1 is a new, vertically-oriented CNC-machined aluminum chassis. This time around, it features loop holes at each of the four corners to serve as attachment points for keys, tethers, or lanyards to wear as a badge holder. An internal metal RFID blocking card cavity holds up to 6 cards, held in place by a silicone cash strap.
You can configure both the material choice and the number of pockets on the exterior wrap to complete the wallet. For a more classic look and familiar feel in hand, you can opt for Dango's top grain leather section.

These leather exteriors come in both single pocket and bifold configurations: the single pocket holds up to 8-10 cards total, while the bifold section adds 3 more card pockets to accommodate 14-16 cards total. The single pocket is the more minimal of the two, with an elongated thumb cutout to easily slide cards out. The bifold flips out clamshell style for quick access to the internal pockets, which have angles and cutouts for easy retrieval as well. The bifold portion also adds a small loop section for storing a small house key or similarly sized object.

For those of you looking for a more feature-packed wallet, Dango developed a Spec Ops version of the M1 range as well. It's built around the same chassis, but it's coated with a durable Cerakote finish you'd find on some firearms and tactical gear. Instead of leather, it sports Dango's newly developed DTEX material: a rugged, flexible and weather-resistant non-leather synthetic textile. Materials aside, the M1 Spec Ops versions come equipped with Dango's new MT04 tool. It's specially designed for emergency situations, complete with functions like a seat belt cutter, oxygen wrench, serrated and sharpened edges, and more. The bifold variant of the Spec Ops M1 includes yet another tool, the MT01. This compact tool adds an additional 5 functions, including flat and Philips head drivers, and slots into the external loop of the bifold section as an additional security measure to keep the wallet closed.

Each configuration of the M1 wallet features Dango's usual attention to detail in their designs, with cutouts, angles, and touchpoints to make using the wallet and retrieving your cards easier.
