There's no shortage of wallets out there that are slim enough to be called “minimalist,” but few designs put in the extra effort to be minimal in their construction, too. Once you throw elastic bands, screws, stitching, or even spring-loaded levers into the mix, there's a chance any of those components can fail. Climbing the charts for Wallet Wednesday is the Decadent Minimalist DM1, an example of simplicity at its finest. It's CNC-machined from a single piece of metal to carry your essential cards in a slim, lightweight package without screws, straps, and other moving parts that can jam or break. At first glance, the DM1's design is so starkly minimalist, it's not obvious it's a wallet until you load cards into it. In fact, the most common 8-card version's machined metal chassis only weighs 22 grams and adds just 1.5mm thickness to your cards. Cards easily slide into the DM1 with a positive, satisfying click. With options for 8 or 12 cards and a variety of colorways to match plenty of loadouts and themes, there's a minimalist wallet for every EDC. Pick out yours at the link below.
