Titanium flippers have become all too common in the market, and with their popularity it’s becoming harder to find the right one for EDC. But if you’re in the market for a svelte, sleek slicer, the Kizer Yorkie is trending our charts. It comes as a collaboration between Kizer and knifemaker Ray Laconico, based on his custom design and built with premium materials.
Knife enthusiasts will recognize CPM S35VN as one of the highest tiers of steel that can be used for a blade, and on the Yorkie it’s ground into a compact, yet capable 2.5" drop-point blade. The stonewashed blade’s length makes the Yorkie legal to carry in more areas, and its flat grind makes it a reliable slicer. A prominent flipper tab helps you deploy the blade, while internal caged bearings keep the action smooth and reliable. The Yorkie’s titanium framelock handle features a steel lockbar insert for durability, and you can get it in a subtle gray or anodized blue with a matching titanium pocket clip. Last but not least, the Yorkie’s total package weighs in at 2.93 ounces, giving you a light and comfortable EDC. Check it out at the link below.
