The SOG Trident is a tactical folder that keeps proving to be a great value choice by continuing to trend in our gear charts. Its 3.75" AUS-8 blade is rust-resistant and easy to maintain a razor-sharp edge on. Both the partially-serrated clip-point and the traditional tanto versions of the blade provide versatility and functionality, giving you a good tool for both cutting and piercing. The black TiNi coating enhances its corrosion resistance, and you can even have it in a stylized black-and-gray TigerStripe pattern. Deployment is quick and easy thanks to the Trident’s spring-assisted opening mechanism, and a side-lock piston keeps the blade securely in place when it’s in use. For an extra degree of security, there’s a safety built into the glass-filled nylon handles that prevents accidental deployment in your pocket. The textured handles feature a Digi-Grip variable pattern for a secure grip, and also have a cut-out groove that exposes a tiny bit of the blade, allowing you to cut straps or cord even when the knife is closed. Finally, a reversible deep-carry pocket clip keeps things discreet for everyday pocket carry. Check out the different options in blade styles and coatings for the SOG Trident at the link below.
