Dango A10 Adapt Wallet

If you’ve been around the EDC world, you’ve likely heard of Dango and their line of impressive and innovative everyday carry wallets that are designed to do way more than just hold your cards and cash together in a compact footprint. Their wallets are more like systems, configurable and customizable to your personal needs, and let you add storage and features as you desire with lots of compatible accessories. Their use of premium materials and precision construction also make for a wallet-carrying experience that’s second to none. New in 2020 is their new Adapt series of EDC-friendly wallets which streamline the process of changing your wallet features based on your mission, letting you adapt a slim compact front pocket wallet into a higher-capacity bifold, or and even integrate a notebook and pen holder in the versatile process.

As its name implies, the A10 adapts to the situation on hand. The basic Adapt wallet consists of the chassis, which is made from anodized and precision-machined 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum. On one side of the wallet is a horizontal cavity that allows for easy, yet secure access to up to four cards, protected by an RFID-shielding aluminum plate to prevent against identity theft and credential spoofing. On the other side there’s an unshielded card pocket to accommodate quick entry into buildings and offices, or for NFC use at point-of-sale registers or for public transit.

But it’s the Adapt rail system that sets this apart from other wallets out there, and even other Dango wallets as well. It allows for tool-free reconfiguration of the wallet to both improve capacity and capability based on your needs for the day. It starts with the Single Pocket Adaptor, which adds a synthetic durable and water-resistant DTEX card holder to the Adept’s rail system, giving you two more card slots while keeping the slim profile of the basic chassis. Change that out for the Adapt Bifold Wallet and you get a bifold design that allows up to 9 more payment and identification cards to be held while only adding 1.2 oz to the entire ensemble. The final iteration of the Adapt Wallet sizes things up a bit, allowing you to hold an additional 9 cards in a bifold design along with Dango’s special 48-page notebook and a silver-anodized aluminum pen with a write anywhere pressurized ink.

And while you could carry the Adapt rail inserts on their own, the system works best when you have all its modular components available at your disposal. That way, whether you’re off on a quick trip to the grocery store or planning for an extended trip away from home, you don’t have to find a new wallet to make use of essentials functions for note-taking or extra card storage. Instead, with the Dango A10 Adapt Wallet, you can adapt to the situation and change things as you need when you need it.

With such a smart and convenient design, the new Dango Adapt Wallet deserves your attention. Click the link below to find out more details about this unique EDC-friendly modular wallet and make it a part of your own carry today.

I agree with gargoyle comment. We are looking for slim wallets and this one looks great... but bulky too!

While I think this sounds interesting, I'm curious how big it becomes when you load it to capacity. It's starting to sound like that massive thick wallet I got rid of a couple years back is gradually coming back, just in a new disguise.

Would love to hear from someone who owns one and can talk about it with first hand experience. And take a few photos as well.
