Every day, readers like you proudly share photos of their everyday carry on the site.

Not only is looking through their pockets this way super interesting, but it's also a great way to find really cool gear you never even knew existed (yet somehow, suddenly need…).

When you hover over an item you like and click on it in these photos, you're also letting other EDCers know you find that gear interesting. Each click gets recorded to create a data-driven ranking of the most popular gear, which you can find in our Gear section of the site found in the top menu bar.

Gear with the most views and clicks climbs its way to the top of this feed and lets the EDC community know what's trending right this second.

This past September you were keen on compact organizers, high-tech wallets, and high-value knives. Let's take a look at all the gear you were most interested in…

Given its popularity, you're probably familiar with the Maxpedition Micro Pocket Organizer. It's used by hundreds of EDCers in our own community for a number of good reasons. It's truly pocket sized at 3.5" x 1" x 5.5" yet manages to turn even an expansive loadout into one sleek, consolidated kit. Its clamshell-opening design features multiple pockets and webbing loops inside to snugly secure common pocket-sized tools like single cell flashlights, smaller pocket knives, as well as multi-tools or cables. Slip pockets fit slim objects like your phone, notepad, or power bank. On the outside, a mesh front pocket grants quick access to small loose items, while a large pull handle makes retrieval from your pocket easy. Like other Maxpedition gear, it's made with durable, dirt- and water-resistant 800D nylon for long-lasting performance. Best of all, it's fairly affordable, coming in at under $20.

The 8th most popular item in September isn’t your typical wallet, nor does it use the typical materials. The Able Carry Joey Pouch is a compact zippered wallet made with three variations of X-Pac depending on your choice of color. But rather than just being simple dump wallet for your cards and cash, Able Carry integrates an interior divider, exterior quick pocket for your most-used cards, and even 2 key lashes on both interior and exterior pockets. An exterior Hypalon loop completes the wallet’s design, letting you clip as needed to your gear or giving you quick retrieval from your pocket.

The EASYANT Leather Holster lets you bring some order into your pockets with a functional design, tough handmade construction, and traditional aesthetics. It lays flat at 4.02" x 2.87" and features two front pockets for a small knife and pen, plus an easy access pocket on the rear for spare cash and loose change. The middle section also features some storage for your high use IDs, credit cards, or travel cards. Because it’s hand cut and stitched from oil wax leather, the EASYANT Leather Holster will soften over time and adapt to its usual contents, creating a snug and customized fit. Bonus points for looking better as it ages, as scuffs and the natural patina that will form give this pocket sheath character over time. At 1.23 ounces, the weight penalty is negligible for the benefits of a more organized pocket, with less jangling and more protection for your EDC gear.

A simple pull deploys the tip of the included smooth-writing Zebra 4C-0.7 Ballpoint Pen Refill. A metal pocket clip keeps this pocket pen secure in your pocket or attached to your wallet or pocket planner. It’s also small enough to pack in an Altoids tin. At 12 grams, it’s an addition to your daily carry that takes up next to no space, yet one you’ll appreciate when you need to write something at a moment's notice.

The Bellroy Apex Slim Sleeve takes on the classic leather bifold with a fresh and modern design, propping it up on the 5th slot for September. Instead of traditional stitching that can bulk up the wallet, they’ve gone with a cutting-edge construction method: heat and pressure bonds pieces of premium leather together to create a sleek and seamless form. It results in a water-resistant, 3D-formed shape that depends on no stitches at all—stitches that can fail and lead to the unraveling of the wallet. This method allows the Apex Slim Sleeve to carry up to eight of your identification, credit, and travel cards in a form factor that, at 102 x 74 x 17mm, is only slightly bigger than the cards themselves. The wallet’s pre-molded form also integrates RFID-blocking technology to keep your information safe from theft and fraud.

The worst thing that can happen in a car is getting in trouble somewhere and not being able to call for help. Cell phone service isn’t available everywhere, and even in a big city the lines can get jammed when everyone is trying to call in an emergency. With the right licenses, you can transmit messages on ham frequencies with a radio like the BaoFeng UV-5R, letting you get the help you need to yourself or for others. It's a 4-watt, two-way radio in the frequency range of 136-174 MHz and 400-480 MHz for a wide range of transmission, and features a dual-band and dual-frequency display with 128 channels at your disposal. It even comes with an FM radio and LED flashlight for the most dire emergencies.

It continues to stand out with its letter opener-esque slim and narrow silhouette which sits discreetly in your pocket thanks to its tip-down, ultra deep-carry clip. It deploys manually via thumb studs on smooth IKBS bearings, locking into a liner. The 3.1" 8Cr13MoV, flat ground, plain edge blade gives you plenty of cutting edge to work with, coming to a narrow tip for precision work. Its glass reinforced nylon handles provide a solid, ergonomic grip and keeps weight down to just over 2 ounces total.

Simple and elegant lines, great flipping action, and features that belong to more expensive models elevate the CIVIVI Elementum above other small pocket knives, and to the top of the list for September. This 6.99" long pocket flipper features a 2.96" hollow ground drop point blade, which clears the 3" legal restriction in many places. A simple but effective flipper tab makes for swift deployment, and locking liners keep the blade in place during use. There are lots of options for handle scales, from grippy G-10 to organic Micarta and even lightweight carbon fiber. Whichever you choose, the handles are accentuated by the distinctive "C" logo of the CIVIVI brand, right on the pivot. A deep carry clip completes the package, and lets you carry this gent’s folder discreetly. At 4.03" closed and around 3 ounces—depending on handle materials—the Elementum disappears in your pocket until you need it. Carbon fiber scales and a Damascus steel blade set this particular version apart from other configurations, creating a distinct aesthetic for this limited edition run.

The Baofeng radio requires an amateur radio license in order to transmit. Also, it is illegal to transmit on the FRS and GMRS frequencies using this radio even if you do have an amateur radio license.
