When space in your bag is limited, it can be hard to justify carrying around a drink tumbler for EDC. For starters, they tend to take up a lot of valuable real estate in your pack, and after you’ve emptied out the cup it turns into dead weight for the rest of the day. But what if that drink holder could collapse into itself into a compact puck? That’s what the HYDAWAY Collapsible Drink Tumbler offers thanks to its unique crushable silicone and metal design that gives you the convenience of a lidded travel cup without all of the bulk when you’re done with it.

The secret to the HYDAWAY tumbler’s design is the use of food-grade silicone and a shape that allows itself go from a full 16 oz liquid capacity down to a 4 inch puck in your pack once you’re done. And unlike some of the other silicone camping cups you might see on the market, HYDAWAY’s solution is far more convenient because you can add a lid to prevent spillage in transit, and there’s a stainless steel rim that lets you get full purchase on the edge of the cup when you’re taking a sip.

And while it won’t perform as well as the ubiquitous double-wall stainless steel or titanium coffee mugs out there, silicone is inherently a great insulator, keeping your hands from getting too warm when you’re holding the cup with hot liquids inside. It’s also non-toxic and safe for hot liquids, meaning you won’t have to worry about chemicals from the cup itself leeching into your drink and causing you harm in the long run like you can with cheap dollar-store plastic cups.

The HYDAWAY Collapsible Drink Tumbler sports a unique design that sets it apart from the competition, and it’s a high-quality choice for a compact drink EDC when you’re on the go. If you dislike the bulk of traditional travel mugs and water bottles, the HYDAWAY might be more your cup of tea. Check it out at the link below.
