Heroclip Carabiners
Not all carabiners are built the same, and even the useful gated function has its limits. That’s where Heroclip’s unique take on the carabiner comes in: not only does it do everything a regular gated hook can, but its unique design lets it clip onto and hang from even the most challenging locations, making it one of the most useful accessories you can grab for EDC. And this limited edition collaboration with Carryology takes it even further with a unique and collectible design.
The magic behind the Heroclip is its patented 360-degree swivel and two-jointed folding hook system. The pivoting joint allows items to hang straight even from awkward mounting points on a bag, and removing items from the clip is easy with the extra-large swing gate on the carabiner. It even excels where most carabiners can’t even come close—hanging off the edges of tables, chairs, or shelves where attachment points aren’t always available.
This collaboration with Carryology takes the usual solid-colored Heroclip and gives it a special “Seigaha” design printed in black and chrome on the top half of the hook. Seigaha literally means ”blue sea and waves.“ The overlapping concentric circles are an ancient motif used to illustrate seas and oceans on maps, and eventually found its way onto other mediums like clothing, art, and decoration. The water and waves also symbolize power, resistance, and good luck; key elements of Japanese culture.
It has all the same functionality as the Medium-sized Heroclip. It measures 3“ wide by 3.75” high (when closed), with an opening wide enough for most tabletops when a bag hook isn’t available. It can hold up to 60lbs of weight, which is more than enough to hold an EDC bag and all its contents off the ground. Its precision-machined aircraft-grade aluminum construction helps keep it lightweight as well at only 2 oz. The Heroclip also features a built-in rubber tip to provide it with extra grip when you hang it. This way your belongings will stay secure whether they’re on a natural or man-made anchor point.
Whether you’re hanging a hydration bladder on a tree branch on an outdoor excursion, a bag from a suitcase handle while you’re on the move, or want to consolidate your EDC essentials with a versatile hook, Heroclip keeps your stuff off the ground, organized, and accessible.
