Marathon MSAR Automatic

Marathon has extensive experience making bombproof watches with military and government service in mind, and that extends to the depths of the ocean with their dive watch offerings like this MSAR Automatic. It features a reliable Swiss-made automatic mechanical watch movement for accurate timekeeping. It’s also water-resistant down to 300 meters. Where some dive watches have a “busy” look to them, legibility is the name of the game when it comes to this watch, with easily identifiable Arabic legends and a date complication. Finally, When things get dark outside (or down in the depths) the tritium lume and MaraGlo paint on the hands of the watch as well as the hour markers allows you to read the time at a glance.

NanoTorch

True to its name, the Nanotorch adds almost no bulk to your keychain at 1.8“ long and 0.3” thin. Despite being one of the smallest lights you carry, its output stays impressive at 25 lumens, powered by a Nichia LED and four LR44 button cell batteries. Operation is as simple as it gets, just twist the knob in the back to turn it on and off; no additional complicated settings, giving you light instantly with no fuss. Finally, thanks to a stainless steel construction, this keychain torch is more than ready to take on the bumps and scrapes of everyday carry.

Larq Bottle

For those of us who carry and use a water bottle regularly, there’s always a concern about germ contamination and bacterial buildup. Thankfully, LARQ has created an integrated cap-based solution that kills odor- and disease-causing bacteria and micro-organisms using UV-C LED technology. This is the same technology used by hospitals and medical professionals to sterilize medical equipment and emergency rooms. While it’s on the bottle, you simply press a button on the lid and let it silently do its work. Double tapping the button activates Adventure Mode, which increases the UV-C dosage by a bit more than double, for when you think your bottle may be exposed to more harmful agents. And in case you forget, the LARQ Bottle Movement automatically activates it every two hours, keeping it clean and sterile during transit and throughout the day.

1733 VX21 Ripstop Bookbag

1733 brings you an extra-tough, water-resistant, and made in the USA backpack with a classic book bag style that hits all the nostalgic notes. More popularly known as X-Pac, the VX21 performance fabric is made from a laminate sandwich of DWR coating, 210 denier nylon, an x-grid, a non-porous film, and a polyester taffeta backing, making it much stronger and lighter than backpacks that use traditional nylon. This means that the bag is water resistant and abrasion resistant while staying just16.5 ounces. Inside the bag you get a laptop sleeve, a quick-access pocket on the top and a front organizer pocket, in addition to the 17L main compartment, giving you plenty of space for your books, laptop, and EDC essentials.

Danner Pub Garden Boots

The Danner Pub Garden were designed to be both work and play boots, suitable for gardening, handiwork, or even a night out on the town. Their clean and minimalist construction features a premium leather upper with a 100% waterproof barrier. This design allows for moisture to escape from your feet while keeping them safe from outside sources. On the inside you’ll find an Ortholite footbed with three layers of different density to maximize your comfort. But the Pub Gardens can also walk the walk: the outsole uses an oil-resistant and slip-resistant compound to give you the traction you need throughout your day. Finally, they were designed with ankle support in mind to keep you secure on your feet, no matter the occasion.

Relwen Messenger Shell

When it comes to protection from the rain, you might need something a little less cumbersome than an umbrella to carry all day. Jackets like the Relwen Messenger Shell exist to provide you with amazing protection against rain without slowing you down. It’s made from a shadow ripstop shell material with a waterproof laminate coating, resulting in both a breathable and lightweight jacket. Underneath, you’ll find mesh lining along with underarm panels to keep you dry and cool. And for utility, it comes with two hand pockets along with a chest pocket, giving you more than enough storage to get through your day. Its best feature, however, is its packable design—you can roll it up into its own pocket so it can stay out of the way in your bag until you need it, giving you weather protection at a moment’s notice.
