Everybody's used to listening to music through their earbuds, but how about having your earbuds listen to you? That’s exactly what Skullcandy is doing with their new Grind Fuel wireless earbuds to set themselves apart from the pack: a pair of high quality earbuds that can be controlled through voice commands for a true hands-free experience.

Dubbed Skull-iQ, the tech allows you to issue voice commands to the Grind Fuel earbuds by simply saying "Hey Skullcandy” followed by the command you want to activate. You get the basics like lowering or raising volume and answering calls, but there’s also a voice command for launching an official Spotify integration, letting you control things like pausing and playing songs as well as skipping them.

You can also toggle Skullcandy’s Stay Aware mode with a voice command, making it easier to hear your surroundings without having to remove an earbud. Additional conveniences includes commands for activating your phone’s assistant, answering or rejecting calls with a single word, and even customizing the buds’ buttons to take a photo.

While the voice activated functionality is the Grind Fuel’s flagship feature, Skullcandy still packed them with a ton of convenient upgrades to make them able to compete with today’s most modern earbuds. The Grind Fuel earbuds come with up to 40 hours of battery life (9 in the buds, 31 in the case), allowing you to enjoy your music for longer. Hyper-quick USB-C charging means 10 minutes of charging gives you 2 hours of runtime. Bluetooth 5 ensures compatibility with most modern devices, including convenient instant pairing. The Skullcandy app takes the Grind Fuel to the next level, giving you access to more features like over-the-air feature and firmware updates as well as EQ customization.

Last but not least, the Grind Fuel earbuds also feature built-in Tile technology. This means that if you ever misplace them (a common problem with wireless earbuds), you can use the Tile app to emit a sound to help you find them. They’ve also been rated IP55 for sweat and water resistance, so you can feel confident with their performance, rain or shine. Pick them up at the link below.
