Whether your adventures take you to fields afar or down to the corner store, having a dependable watch on your wrist is an important part of a well-curated everyday carry. With that sense of adventure, Huckberry approached Timex to draw on their collective experience, culminating in a new custom automatic movement timepiece. And if you’re looking for a new and highly-dependable EDC wristwatch, you should take a look at the crisp collaboration they’ve created: the Timex x Huckberry Navi XL Automatic "Arctic" watch, featuring a design harkening back to iconic polar arctic explorer watches of days past.

This exclusive watch features a classic diver-style look with a stainless steel case, rated for water resistance down to 100 meters, and a white dial that features 24-hour time markers and a date complication. The Japanese-made, 21 jewel automatic movement inside is self-winding, meaning it maintains a power reserve based on having it on your wrist as you go about your business. The movement also features a high-contrast orange sweeping hand that’s identifiable at a glance. The luminescent hands and indexes allow for low-light legibility as well.

The back of the Arctic features an exhibition caseback, letting you see the inner workings when you have it off your wrist. The 41mm case width is bold, but works comfortably on most wrist sizes, and with a 20mm lug width you have the ability to take off the included stainless steel link bracelet and put it on a NATO or Zulu style strap for easier adjustment if you prefer.

With its timeless look and heritage design, the Arctic is ready to accompany you wherever you go, even to the coldest regions of its namesake. But if you want to get a hold of this watch, it’s better to act sooner rather than later. This exclusive limited edition watch is available only on Huckberry, and once it’s gone, it’s gone.
