SureFire P1R Peacekeeper

SureFire has a reputation in the flashlight community for manufacturing some of the toughest lights around, as evidenced by the widespread use of their lights in military and survival applications. Many law enforcement and military personnel swear by SureFires, and the ruggedness of the lights makes up for the sometimes generational delay in LED technology that they employ.

It’s been a long time coming, but SureFire has finally embraced the 18650 battery configuration with the recent release of the P1R Peacekeeper. Like all SureFires, the Peacekeeper is over-engineered for toughness and brutally concise in its function. Using a CREE XM-L2 LED, it’s able to throw 600 lumens on high for 1.75 hours and 15 lumens on low for 46 hours. The P1R comes with its own 2600 mAh battery, charger, and car kit, and is compatible with many aftermarket clips and batteries.
