Night Operations lead for an oil and gas exploration company
Working 12 hour nights in the west Texas oilfield comes with some unique challenges. Most of which are made easier with my EDC gear. From the Seeker 4 mini’s long battery life and uv light that helps me avoid scorpions hiding in the darkness to knowing, no matter the weather, my write in the rain pen won’t fail me when critical info needs to be remembered. The AD shark cub easily cuts through any boxes and/or packaging holding parts needed for quick repairs and the Roxon multi tool helps me get in electrical panels and resolve any issues inside. Basic kit but extremely useful.
The only downside? While I love the all black theme, maybe next round I’ll try bright orange or glow in the dark 🤦🏻♂️
