This is what normally carry everyday. I use everything at least several times a week, a few things everyday. I switch out folders; the Aros is my current favorite and the knife I carry most often. Pens also get switched out. The Spoke Roady is my current carry; the cap is magnetic, which is easy to pull off and not easy to lose. The Field Notes are indispensable for lists, random notes, etc. I could carry more, but this really covers daily needs.
