It's a big EDC market out there, and tons of awesome gear is released all the time. We made The Drop to help you discover the latest and greatest essentials worth a spot in your EDC.

If tech items make up a significant portion of your everyday carry, it's crucial to EDC a backpack designed to hold it all when you're on the move. You could opt for a regular EDC backpack, but they don't have the features and protective padding you need. And on the flip side, gaming backpacks with loud designs tend to be too bulky for EDC. But what happens when a gaming brand gets together with a quality minimalist EDC bag maker to solve all these problems and more? You get the slim and sleek Peak Design x Logitech G Everyday Backpack.

The basis for this collaboration bag is the Peak Design Everyday Backpack 20L. But where the original was designed for carrying cameras and lenses around for photographers on the move, this iteration focuses on computers and their accouterments. With the assistance of Logitech G, one of the most popular PC and console gaming accessory makers on the market, Peak Design changed the modular and highly-configurable internal layout of the bag to fit a laptop up to 15" and a 12.9" tablet to boot. The modular FlexPocket system in the main compartment helps to secure a mouse, keyboard, headphones, and other small tech accessories like cables and chargers.

On the outside, the bag retains Peak Design's hallmark minimalist design. Its water-resistant 400D nylon canvas shell is punctuated only by a laser-etched Logitech logo and the 270-degree UltraZip opening, making loading and unloading easy. This bag is tough and has a lifetime warranty against defects, like all Peak Design products. Whether for EDC, a full day of on-the-go gaming, or just a supercharged backpack that can carry all of your conceivable tech, this is the bag that can do it all.

What we like: The Peak Design x Logitech G Everyday Backpack works well for anyone who has considered Peak Design products before but needed help figuring out where it would fit because they don't EDC a camera. The particular focus on carrying tech essentials is a significant improvement in the EDC-friendly design of this pack.

What to watch out for: Unlike the standard version of this bag which features photo dividers and camera-friendly features, the Peak Design x Logitech G Everyday Backpack is only available in black. If you're a fan of the other colorways like grey and blue, you'll have to wait and hope those eventually get released for this design.

Final verdict: This bag is an excellent choice if you carry a significant amount of tech daily. It features the sleek looks of one of the best EDC backpacks around, with the protection and dedicated features you need to carry your laptops, tablets, and gaming gear from point A to point B.
