Trending: Cold Steel Spartan Knife

The kukri is a type of Nepalese shortsword with origins reportedly dating as far back as the 7th century. The Cold Steel Spartan embodies a kukri’s strength, durability, and versatility, featuring a curved 4.5” blade made from Japanese AUS10A steel, known for its high hardness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention. The handle is inspired by the ancient Greek kopis sword, which has a forward curve that fits comfortably in your hand. Its Griv-Ex handles are tough and lightweight polymer injection-molded with steel liners for extra stability. The knife also has a super-secure signature Tri-Ad lock, which prevents the blade from closing accidentally. Rounding out the features is a Demko thumb plate opening, which allows you to open the knife quickly and easily with one hand or, for extra cool points, by snagging the edge of your pocket. The clip is reversible so that you can carry the knife on either side of your body.

So who’s it for? The Cold Steel Spartan is an excellent tool for outdoor enthusiasts, survivalists, and anyone who appreciates a well-made knife. Whether you need a knife for camping, hunting, or everyday use, this might just be your next favorite.
