ZeroHour are back with their second flashlight project on Kickstarter, building on the original design of their ZeroHour XD, a modular flashlight also capable of charging mobile devices. The Relic XR retains the charging capability of the XD, but is designed to be more compact and tactical, and built with plenty of features that will please flashaholics. The Relic XR is machined out of 8625 anodized aluminum with a removable crenelated bezel and rear forward clicky tail switch. Powered by CR123 or 18650 cells, it uses a CREE XP-L emitter to push out an adjustable (via rotating selector ring) 1000 lumens along with strobe and SOS modes. With the built-in USB charging, backers looking to have a great backup flashlight have a little under a month to pledge on the campaign.
