Originally released in 2013, the Mk II Fulcrum was Mk II’s “vision of the perfect tool watch,” blending military vintage style with modern functionality. Their latest release, the Mk II Fulcrum 39, is an updated version that retains the spirit of the original, with a downsized case from the original 42mm to a versatile 39.5mm, making it a bit more wearable for those with smaller wrists. Powered by reliable Miyota automatic movements (9015 for the date version, 90S5 for the non-date version), the Fulcrum 39 also comes with the option of a classic dive bezel or a 12-hour bezel for tracking a second time zone, making it useful both on land and in water.

The dial is all about function – it’s clear, easy to read, and features BGW9 Super-LumiNova for visibility in the dark. A double-domed sapphire crystal keeps things scratch-free, and its 200M water resistance means it’s ready for just about anything. A cool bonus is the included zine with a fictional backstory that imagines the watch as a Cold War-era tool, adding a touch of intrigue.
