Benchmade’s New MagnaCut Knives Aren’t Afraid of the Water

Benchmade produces some of our all-time favorite knives, so there are a lot of reasons to be excited about these two releases: the Benchmade Adira MagnaCut folding knife and its smaller sibling, the Benchmade Mini Adira. Starting with the larger Adira, it features a 3.9” drop point blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel offering unparalleled durability and superior corrosion resistance. The Adira is thoughtfully designed with high-visibility Depth Blue Grivory handle scales and an orange thumb stud opener, ensuring quick deployment even in challenging conditions. The ambidextrous AXIS Lock mechanism provides secure and effortless locking, while the deep-carry pocket clip allows for discreet and convenient tip-up carry.

The Benchmade Mini Adira folding knife offers the same features as its larger counterpart but in a more compact size. With a 3.2” drop point blade made from the same high-performance MagnaCut steel, the Mini Adira is perfect for those who prefer a smaller yet equally reliable tool. It features a smaller handle (4.25” vs 5.12”) with similar Depth Blue Grivorly handle scales that provide a comfortable grip. Weighing just 3.09 oz., the Mini Adira combines lightweight convenience with the power and precision Benchmade knives are known for, making it an indispensable piece for everyday carry enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike. These knives are designed to excel in wet environments, so if you’ve been looking for a knife for preparing bait or scaling fish, the Adira is worth checking out.

Keep One Eye on the Horizon With Nocs Provisions’ Waterproof Monocular

Nocs Provisions’ Zoom Tube 8×32 Waterproof Monocular is a must-have tool for avid explorers and outdoor enthusiasts. This compact, pocket-sized telescope offers powerful optics with 8x magnification and a wide 384-feet field of vision at 1000 yards, perfect for birdwatching, navigation, and nature observation, and easy to use with a smartphone to take zoomed photos. It’s equipped with a scratch-resistant, multi-coated glass lens system with an anti-reflective coating and a superior Bak4 roof prism that delivers exceptional clarity and sharpness, even in challenging lighting.

The Zoom Tube is encased in a durable, high-impact rubber armor that provides a secure, non-slip grip and substantial shock resistance. This monocular is fully waterproof and fog-proof, thanks to its nitrogen-filled internal chambers, ensuring reliable performance in all weather conditions. Its ergonomic design fits comfortably in one hand, and the focus wheel is conveniently positioned for easy and quick adjustments. A twist-up eyecup accommodates glasses wearers, and the built-in tripod adapter enhances its versatility. We like this Zoom Tube from Nocs for its thoughtful features and excellent optical performance, and it’s worth it to cop one for your next outdoor adventure.

Wingback’s Mechanical Pen Promises a Lifetime of Writing Bliss

Wingback has introduced the Steel Mechanical Pen, a built-to-last ballpoint pen designed with a single-handed twist mechanism to prevent wobble. Made from aerospace-grade stainless steel, this pen feels satisfyingly weighty in the hand and promises durability for a lifetime of writing tasks, from meeting notes to spontaneous bursts of creativity.

One of my favorite aspects of the Wingback is its barrel length. At 4.6”, it’s slightly shorter than most standard pens, yet it provides a full-sized writing experience. The machining is top-notch, with a slightly textured finish and knurling that ensures a secure grip without being too sharp. Some users may feel limited since it only supports Fisher Space Pen refills and lacks a clip but we still think it’s a solid EDC and in our opinion, the Wingback Steel Mechanical Pen is built to last with timeless design.

DSPTCH and Engineered Garments Team Up for a Technical Dyneema Daypack

DSPTCH has consistently been pushing the envelope with its packs and bags so we expected no different from their special edition collection with Engineered Garments. The collection features four bag styles, including the Ridgepack, which caught our attention. The “shell-style” backpack is a new direction for their pack design, intentionally simplified for lightweight and versatile carry. Crafted from premium materials like Dyneema Composite Fabric (said to be 15x stronger than steel) and 1680D Ballistic Nylon with DWR coating, the Ridgepack ensures durability without the extra weight. Inside, you’ll find a 410D Nylon Packcloth lining, also with DWR coating, making it perfectly equipped to withstand urban commutes and everyday adventures. Since the bags are hand-dyed, each bag takes on a unique appearance.

But the Ridgepack’s innovation doesn’t stop at its exterior. This backpack boasts a modular design, allowing users to customize their carry experience using pouches and clips. This means that whether you need quick access to your essentials or a secure spot for your laptop, the Ridgepack has you covered. Its padded sleeve comfortably fits up to a 16″ slim laptop, keeping your tech safe on the go. Ideal for urban commuters and EDC enthusiasts, the Ridgepack is set to redefine what you expect from a modern backpack.

CIVIVI’s New ExOne Has the Chops to Be a Fantastic Everyday Flipper

CIVIVI continues to design some of the best knives on the market, and the ExOne designed by the exceptional Brian Brown, well-known for his work on the Trogon with parent-brand WE Knife, is no exception. The ExOne boasts a 2.94” reverse tanto blade crafted from Nitro-V steel celebrated for its toughness, corrosion resistance, and edge retention. With a blade hardness of 59-61 HRC and a hollow grind, this satin-finished blade excels in precision tasks such as opening packages and fine cutting and can be deployed using the full-length fuller or flipper.

The handle of the ExOne is constructed from durable G10 material in an elegant ivory finish, complemented by green-painted stainless steel liners, offering a pleasing aesthetic contrast. The pocket clip is designed for tip-up deep carry and is reversible for left or right-handed use. The ceramic ball-bearing pivot assembly ensures smooth and reliable deployment, while the liner lock mechanism provides secure blade lockup during use. The CIVIVI ExOne stands out as an excellent EDC knife, combining high-quality materials, thoughtful design, and superior performance at an affordable price point.
