Peak Design started by making some of the best everyday carry gear for photographers and tech enthusiasts, and they’ve partnered with Carryology to celebrate that heritage with a unique refresh of their camera straps and equipment. In this capsule, the Slide mechanism that makes Peak Design’s camera straps so adjustable comes with high visibility orange hardware to make them easier to find. The Mobile Tripod and Capture Clip also feature an “Auxikko” print that evokes the hexagonal plates in the armor of old samurai warriors from feudal Japan. But aside from the new look, we love the incorporation of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE) threads into the design of the new camera straps. They’re a significant upgrade in durability and reliability on a strap that you use to keep your gear safe, sound, and away from the ground.
