Vasque’s team of designers, engineers, and materials scientists paid close attention to customer feedback. They utilized rounds of development-fed testing and tweaked each aspect of the Breeze until they were confident that it lived up to its legacy of providing comfort, durability, fit, and versatility. As a show of respect to the outdoors and the environment, all aspects of the Breeze were scrutinized to make it the most sustainably-made boot that Vasque has ever produced.
The 2022 Vasque Breeze features a VasqueDry waterproof Nubuck Leather upper with a recycled polyester mesh, webbing, and trim. Its midsole uses a high-rebound Enduralist Bio EVA polymer made from sugarcane. Its footbed features Dual Density EVA, while its outsole provides excellent multi-directional traction and a defined heel brake for added control on descent, thanks to Vasque’s proprietary Vasque Trail Strider technology.
The new Breeze is available in three men’s colorways (Nutria, Java, and Pavement) and weights in at a light 2 lbs. 8oz, while women have two colorway options (Trooper and Cappuccino) at a slightly lighter 2 lbs. 2 oz.
